This is a huge campground, over 1,000 sites. We traveled there in October so it wasn’t busy at all. In fact they were closing down part of the park for the winter.
Our site was about 1/2 a football field to the ocean! We were up early each morning to see the sunrise. At night you could hear the waves breaking on the beach.
Each site has a covered gazebo with a pic-nic table. And the distance between sites was reasonable.
We took a walk around, there is both indoor and outdoor pools. Clean laundry room with a camp-store next door. The bathrooms/bath-houses were clean, spacious, and really nice.
This was really a beautiful place. We have already made plans to return.
The only disappointing part of our stay was the “All-U-Can-Eat Buffett Dinner” at one of the many tourist attraction/restaurants. My advise is: Stay away from Buffett!
