This is a very convenient campground while traveling on Route 95 near Selma, NC. Just 2 minutes off the exit.
This is a campground in process. Seems like somebody bought up a great piece of land off the interstate and decided to build a campground – nice move! Its got probably 60 or so sites already and they are working to complete more. It’s very well laid-out and spacious. Nice not to be sitting on the rig next to yours!!! Very flat and most of the sites are pull-thru’s.
What would complete this campground would be a fenced in area for dogs to run. It would be very easy to do this as there is quite enough area for it.
The campground has a nice pond with ducks too.
I was however, a bit disappointed with the attitude of the young lady that check us in at this campground. She was on her cell-phone when I walked in the door and it seemed like I was the biggest inconvenience in her life. She was rude and abrupt. Seems to me that regardless of a campgrounds success (or potential success) the one greeting the “guests” should be appreciative of the business.
